Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Crossendor (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you access or use crossendor.com (the “Platform”).

Crossendor is operated from Portugal and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Personal Data We Collect

  • Identification data - name and email address, when you join the waiting list or an account is created for you
  • Account data - profile details, plan, and settings you provide voluntarily
  • Technical data - IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system
  • Usage data - pages visited, searches run, and feature interactions

The advertising content shown on the Platform (ads, advertiser names, creatives) is publicly available market data, not data collected about you.

3. How We Use Personal Data

  • To provide and operate the Platform
  • To manage accounts, the waiting list, and communications
  • To send service-related emails (invitations, receipts, account notices)
  • To improve functionality, performance, and user experience
  • To ensure security, enforce fair-use limits, and prevent abuse

4. Legal Bases

We process personal data on the basis of contract performance (operating your account), legitimate interest (security, product improvement), and consent (waiting-list and marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time).

5. Cookies and Local Storage

The Platform uses only essential storage: a session token kept in your browser so you stay signed in. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Sharing and Processors

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate:

  • Hosting - cloud infrastructure providers (Microsoft Azure)
  • Email delivery - transactional email providers
  • Payments - payment processors (Stripe), when paid plans are enabled; we never store card details

Processors are bound by data-processing agreements and process data only on our instructions.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: account data for the life of the account, waiting-list emails until you are onboarded or ask to be removed, and technical logs for a limited period for security.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Portugal: CNPD)

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@crossendor.com.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures - encrypted transport, hashed credentials, and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Platform is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 16.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when published here, as indicated by the “Last updated” date.
